The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.
If you have a scheduled appointment or other business at the MTF, please verify with your provider or applicable office within the MTF to ensure there are no changes in schedule. To learn how the lapse in appropriations affects your TRICARE benefit, visit

Health Services

Referrals Management Office

We are a walk-in clinic and a one-stop shop where patients go to process specialty referrals requested by their provider.

What We Do

In our office, we can:
  • Help you schedule your military treatment facility specialty appointment.
  • Coordinate your off-site network provider if necessary.
  • Advise on health care benefits and review referrals.
If you have been referred for specialty care, please come to our office before leaving the clinic so we can help set up your initial appointment. All follow-up appointments to the military treatment facility sub-specialty clinic will be coordinated with that clinic. All military treatment facility specialty referrals are considered expired if you do not set your appointment within access-to-care standards. If care cannot be provided on base, we will defer you to our one of our TRICARE Health Net specialist medical provider. Our office cannot renew, modify, or delete an unused, unwanted, or expired referral. All expired referrals must be renewed by your primary care manager.
