Public Health
We are a walk-in clinic. We manage and performs public health activities and programs in support of the Aerospace Medicine Program. There are two major divisions within Public Health: Community Health Management and Force Health Management.
Community Health Management
Included within Community Health Management are communicable disease control and prevention, food safety and defense, medical entomology, and sanitary compliance.
Force Health Management
Included within Force Health Management are management of medical deployment clearance processing, Preventive Health Assessments (PHA) and Individual Medical Readiness in Aeromedical Services Information Management Systems (ASIMS), and administrative oversight of occupational health examinations, including performing audiograms.
Types of procedures performed include medical clearances and assessments for pre and post deployment, mental health assessments, preventive health assessments, medical intelligence, and travel medicine.
Occupational Health
Occupational Health focuses on fetal protection, medical employee health program, occupational health shop education and audiograms.
Communicable Disease
Communicable Disease focuses on infectious disease surveillance and control, and medical entomology.
Food Safety
Food Safety focuses on food handler training, food facility sanitation, and food inspection.
Public Facility Sanitation
Public facility sanitation focuses on public facility and childcare facility sanitation.
